Maryna Khonda

Since December 2018, Maryna Khonda has served as Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration.

Before her current appointment, she held a series of key positions within the Kyiv City Administration. From November 2012, she served as Director of the Department of Public Communications, and earlier, from August 2010, as Head of the Main Directorate for Internal Policy and Public Relations of the Kyiv City Council’s executive body.

Between October 2001 and July 2008, Ms. Khonda worked in the Secretariat of the Kyiv City Council, first in the Legal Department and later in the Department of Legal Support. She subsequently served as Head of the Legal Department at Kyivpidszemshliakhbud Concern LLC from July 2008 to 2010.

Ms. Khonda graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a Master’s degree in Law.

She was born on 19 November 1979 in Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, Ukraine.
