Aslihan Ozcan
Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Specialist at UN WomenAslihan Ozcan serves as Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Specialist at UN Women, applying her expertise to drive gender-responsive recovery and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine. Her journey with UN Women began at the Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia, where she was integral in reinforcing the quality and impact of over 150 civil society partnerships across a wide spectrum of areas such as economic empowerment, humanitarian assistance, women, peace and security.
Prior to her work with the UN, Aslihan engaged in securing financial resources and facilitating multistakeholder partnerships for humanitarian, peace and development efforts of civil society and international organizations. She also pioneered two business models that executed over 30 development initiatives in Europe and MENA region. Her approach strategically integrates innovative and digital strategies to optimize socio-economic investments.
Grounded in a dual master’s degree in International Cooperation and Social Development, her career is further defined by her specialization in mediation, negotiation and results-based management. Aslihan is a strong advocate for women’s participation in decision-making and leadership, a commitment she views as essential to driving societal transformation.
