Valentyn  Mondryivskyi

Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration

Since July 2018, Valentyn Mondriyivskyi has served as Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, where he contributes to the city’s governance and development strategy.

Prior to this role, he led the Podil District State Administration in Kyiv, first as Acting Head from 2014 to 2016, and subsequently as Head from 2016 to 2018, overseeing district administration and community development.

From 2010 to 2014, Mr. Mondriyivskyi managed projects at the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Ukraine – UNESCO”, focusing on educational and cultural initiatives.

Between 2007 and 2010, he served as Assistant and Advisor to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, following his earlier experience (2006–2007) as Assistant to a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament.

In 2005, he became Head of the Information Policy Department and Press Service of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, and before that, he worked as Press Secretary to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Head of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Press Service.

From 2002 to 2005, he served as Assistant to a Member of Parliament, after beginning his professional career as a journalist at STB TV Channel from 1998 to 2002.

Mr. Mondriyivskyi graduated from the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in Journalism (2001), and later earned a Master’s degree in Public Development Management (2018) from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.

He was born on 7 November 1978 in Zhuravlykha village, Stavyshche district, Kyiv region, Ukraine.
